GOLDEN EAGLE DANUBE EXPRESS
The Golden Eagle Danube Express is your private, five-star hotel-on-wheels. Carrying up to 62 guests, the Danube Express combines first-class customer service with a romantic and intimate exploration of some of Europe’s most remarkable sites.
There are seven sleeping cars. Four feature Deluxe cabins and the remaining three contain Superior Deluxe cabins. Details of which can be found here.
All Golden Eagle Danube Express cabins are air conditioned. All passengers are provided with luxurious L’Occitane toiletries, along with plush robes, slippers, and towels.
A unique blend of modern technology and nostalgic indulgence, the Golden Eagle Danube Express is one of the finest rail accommodations available across Europe. Cabins are fitted with dimmer switch lighting, reading lights, individual air conditioning, Wi-Fi and USB ports, power sockets and safe.
Meals onboard are enjoyed in our immaculately designed Restaurant Cars. As the train meanders through the hypnotic European landscape, delve into the irresistible breakfast selection. Options include fresh fruits, regional delicacies, and a warming cooked breakfast.

The social heart of the train, the Bar Lounge Car is the perfect place to relax, enjoy a delicious array of baked goods and play a game of backgammon or two. Our expert Tour Managers can host a range of programmes to be held in the Bar Lounge Car – including language lessons and engaging lectures led by specialist guest speakers.
The glamour intensifies as the sun sets. Settle back in the plush seats of the Bar Lounge Car and luxuriate in the sumptuous haze of opulent décor and the romantic glow of the setting sun. Relax as the resident musician delicately plays and our team of specialist bar staff serve up an exclusive menu of cocktails.
GOLDEN EAGLE
A fully en-suite private train, the Golden Eagle, serves the world’s longest railway line and can carry up to 100 guests.

Undoubtedly the premier rail cruise, the private train features three categories of compartment on board – Silver, Gold, and Imperial Suite. All compartments feature en-suite bathrooms with luxurious amenities, large picture windows, remote controlled air-conditioning and heating, a full-length wardrobe, personal safe and LCD screens with DVD/CD player.
Our most superior suites; the Imperial Suite, features additional luxurious touches, including a spacious King Size bed, a separate power shower cubicle and underfloor heating, an extra picture window, complimentary minibar, and the option of in-suite private dining (perfect for an intimate celebration.)
